Hi! My name is Lorna, and I'm a high school student in Carmel, IN.

I love baking, talking to my friends, hiking at national parks, skiing, and driving with my friends.

​

I became interested in journalism my freshman year when I read an article about my first grade teacher. I joined our school publication, and that was when I was introduced to Brandon Stanton's Humans of New York (HONY). Interviewing people for my school's publication and reading the HONY website inspired me to start my own project—Humans of Carmel.

I'm not sure what this website will look like in the future, but it's so inspiring to hear stories from people of all ages and backgrounds.
